The Viking Mile is an exciting new race to bring back the classic distance. Run on a fast looped course in Birkenhead Park, runners will run in a series of individual races. Each athlete will be seeded to compete in a wave based on their declared expected race time. This will mean exciting fast races, which gives all runners a chance to run their very best time. All races will be chip timed.
Commemorative medals are available for athletes, and special bespoke medals will be awarded to the fastest 3 male and female milers in every UKA age category.
